IS TULLE STILL COOL?

Tulle has been given a bad rap over the years.  It was the decade of the 80's that blew it for the flimsy, fairy,  floaty material.  It was too much tulle in the tiara, veil, under the dress, and heck; even in the bouquet (vomit)  But to sass it up they started using black tulle, fluro tulle (thanks Madonna) and even threw in bedazzled tulle.  Get me a bucket.  I hate the stuff.  I was the misfortunate soul who had many pretty girly dresses with it sticking out the bottom.

However (this is the part where my distaste and disgust is magically reformed in sparkles and tulle dust)
browsing the web, as you do, has given me many wonderful images to reestablished my confidence that tulle can be used for good instead of evil.  They make the photos look so lovely you could almost wear them on the street.  Although I would still avoid any tulle-like substance like the plague I could be convinced to wear something like this for a photo shoot.  In the forest.  Full of fairies.

What do you think?  Is tulle still cool?
